Graphic Designer

Source Code Academia is looking to hire a skilled Graphic Designer to join our on-site creative team. In this position, you will play a key role in developing our visual identity by creating clear and impactful designs for marketing and communication purposes (including print materials, digital advertisements, social media creatives, and basic motion graphics). Responsibilities: 1) Develop and design creative brand visuals and marketing materials, ensuring all assets (brochures, flyers, social media posts, banners, etc.) align with brand guidelines and deliver strong visual impact. 2) Work closely with the marketing, content, and development teams to understand project needs and convert them into effective visual concepts. 3) Design layouts and visual elements for both print and digital platforms (social media graphics, email templates, presentation decks, etc.), applying strong typography and composition principles. 4) Ensure brand consistency across all outputs, including logos, color palettes, and established style guidelines. 5) Create basic motion graphics or simple animated content (such as GIFs and short videos) for website and social media campaigns. 6) Handle multiple design assignments and timelines efficiently, providing updates and incorporating feedback promptly. Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in graphic design. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of basic animation software (After Effects or similar tools) is an advantage. Design Skills: Solid grasp of layout design, typography, and color theory, with keen attention to detail and visual balance. Portfolio: Strong portfolio or work samples demonstrating creativity in branding and marketing-related projects. Digital Media Experience: Demonstrated experience designing for social media and web platforms, with the ability to adapt visuals to various formats. Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication abilities and a team-oriented approach; capable of clearly presenting ideas and working effectively with colleagues. Organization: Well-organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
